Meet Dave Pittom

Meet Dave Gumbrell

Dave has retired after 40 years in Finance and will be happy to take you on a tour of Hamptonne, explaining its history and answering any questions you may have about Jersey past and present.

Meet Steve Falle

Steve worked for Jersey Heritage for 15 years, at all of the sites, based mainly at Hamptonne Country Life Museum and La Hougue Bie. During this time, in 2006 he passed the Jersey Tourism’s Bronze Badge award scheme. For the past five years Steve has been volunteering as a Site Guide at Hamptonne. Within your tour, he’ll also share personal information about Hamptonne that he gained during the time he worked there.

Meet Sarah Entwistle

On our mid-morning tour with Sarah, she will tell you about about rural life over the last 300 years and some of the characters that have lived at Hamptonne over the years. The houses and outbuildings have been lovingly restored to different times in history, so join her for a little bit of time travel!
