Unique jobs for unique people
Artists are invited to express an interest in creating a commission for a new exhibition on the first floor of Jersey Museum, replacing ‘The Story of Jersey’. Opening is planned for July 2024. There are three individual commissions – the history of witchcraft in Jersey, the story of 20th and 21st century immigration, and creating a soundscape for the exhibition space.
Artists would be expected to respond to detailed briefs supplied by Jersey Heritage but the commission might take any form – painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, audio etc.
If you would like to express an interest, please submit details of previous projects and a single page covering letter to Lucy Layton, Exhibitions Curator, at lucy.layton@jerseyheritage.org by Friday 15 December. Selected artists will then be invited to tender.
