Vikings will be invading the Maritime Museum over February half term for five days of action-packed fun. Find out more about these fierce Scandinavian sea warriors and learn about their daily lives. There will be a host of crafts and activities, and the opportunity to take part in the Battle of Stamford Bridge, a clash that most historians agree marked the end of the Viking era.

Professional historical reenactors from UK based Griffin Historical will be providing stories from Norse myth and legend, action activities including combats, feuds and duelling, plus a glimpse into Viking everyday life with object handling and expert knowledge.
