My Rock

1 to 9 October

In celebration of the first UNESCO International Geodiversity Day, we’ve joined forces with our partner, the Aspiring Jersey Island Geopark project, and local students to showcase the Island’s amazing geodiversity.

‘My Rock’ is a new FREE exhibition in the Link Gallery at Jersey Museum by Hautlieu School A-Level photography students. Geodiversity includes everything from minerals and fossils, to soils and spectacular landscapes and the students used Jersey’s geological Sites of Special Interest (SSIs) as inspiration for their images. Their creations will inform further photographic studies on the theme of “islandness”.
