    Upstream to Hamptonne

    A short stroll through Waterworks Valley along a beautiful woodland path in the parish of St Lawrence.   This 1.8 mile walk ends at Hamptonne Country Life Museum  where you can visit the site and enjoy a drink in the on-site cafe (when the site is open).  Download the walk.


    First Tower to the Elizabeth Castle Ferry

    This short walk of under one mile, brings together a huge slice of social history. Within a mile, we will go from the serenity of sailing ships to the immediacy of air travel, and the revolutionary steps that took place in between. You can continue your walk by visiting Elizabeth Castle.  When the tide is out you can walk across the bay to the castle or take the return trip on the Castle Ferry.  Find out about Elizabeth Castle’s opening times and prices.     Howard Davis Park to the Maritime Museum

    The route is entirely on pavement or gravel path and is about 2 miles in length and takes 1 hour.  This walk offers a glimpse into the life of one of Jersey’s greatest philanthropists – Thomas Benjamin Davis.  The son of a ship’s carpenter, he was a self-made millionaire, a friend of King George V, yet he never forgot the island of his birth.  Find out about the Maritime Museum’s opening times and prices.     Towards Le Vieux Château
