Lunchtime Learning: A Sense of Porpoise

Jersey’s waters are home to several species of dolphin, as well as porpoises and the occasional visiting whale. But what do we know about the behaviour of these enigmatic marine mammals around our Island? And, most intriguingly, where do our dolphins go for Christmas?

Join Paul Chambers, Head of the aspiring Jersey Island Geopark, who has been monitoring Jersey’s cetaceans for many years. Paul will share his insights into their movements, habits, and what makes our local marine life so special.

Bring your lunch with you and we will provide tea, coffee and biscuits.

Drop in from 1pm and be back to work by 2pm.

This short talk starts at 1.10pm. Booking is essential – 35 FREE tickets are available to Jersey Heritage Members only.
