Delightful Doll’s Houses: a brief encounter with their enduring history in Jersey and beyond

1pm to 2pm

Step into the miniature world of doll’s houses with Cara Ross from Jersey Archive as she explores their fascinating European origins and the ways these tiny homes have shaped how children and adults understand the world around them.

From the opulent residence of Lord and Lady Smallie to charming handmade wartime toys, discover how Jersey’s examples reflect the rich and varied history of doll’s houses and their imagined inhabitants.

Bring your lunch with you and we will provide tea, coffee and biscuits.

Drop in from 1pm and be back to work by 2pm.

This short talk starts at 1.10pm. Booking is essential – 35 FREE tickets are available below to Jersey Heritage Members only.
