Harvest time is here, and there's plenty for little ones to discover! Hosted by Jersey Heritage's Education Team and Members' Events Curator, Carmella Knight, this playful drop-in event invites little explorers to discover the sights, textures and stories of harvest time through creative, nature-inspired activities.
Aimed at children aged 3-5 years, these engaging activities are perfect for curious minds and busy hands, and include:
Harvest Farmyard – small world play
Plant & Harvest – roll up your sleeves and become a young farmer
Potato Dig & Discover – unearth hidden harvest treasures in the sand tray
Apple Play – harvest-themed water play
Harvest Market – role play buying and selling seasonal produce
Sheep Shearing – messy play with shaving foam!
Scarecrow Building Challenge – help make a giant scarecrow
Chicken and the Egg – matching game
Story Corner – enjoy seasonal stories together
Mini Tractor Rides
Seasonal Veg – sorting activity
Drop-in anytime between 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Children must be accompanied by a JH Member. One adult per two children.
Please book a FREE ticket on Eventbrite for each child taking part. Accompanying adults do not require a ticket (reserve places below).
