4pm to 7.30pm

JH Members and friends can enjoy a traditional Harvest Barn Dance with the lively Shindig Band. Their talented folk musicians will fill the barn with spirited jigs and reels, while an experienced caller guides everyone through the dances, making it easy and fun for dancers of all abilities.
Arrive early and soak up the festive atmosphere. In the grounds you'll find plenty of harvest-themed activities, including:

Pumpkin Bowling
Bachîn Ringing
Veggie Shy (our harvest twist on a coconut shy!)
Traditional Norman games
A friendly tug of war on the lawn to round off the evening
No harvest gathering would be complete without good food. Enjoy a hearty bean crock served in the Gallery, accompanied by cabbage loaf, cheeses and Hamptonne cider. Prefer something else? Drinks and refreshments will also be available to purchase from the café.
