The iconic castle is the location for Jersey Heritage’s Halloween event, which is kindly sponsored by Appleby. Tickets are on sale now and gates will open on the evening of Friday, 31 October 2025 for Islanders to enter at their peril.

Those who are brave enough to come to the Castle will be treated to live (sometimes dead!) entertainment, music, food and more. Nicky Lucas, Jersey Heritage’s Community Events Curator, said: “This is the ultimate Halloween experience in Jersey and we have lots of spooky activity lined up for when darkness falls over Mont Orgueil on 31 October.

“There will be creepy characters roaming within the Castle’s historic walls, including the Witch, the Medieval Jester and the Ghoulish Soldier. Ghost stories will be shared in hushed tones and there will dancing but with a macabre twist. The Jersey Showman will also provide a spectacular fire show for what promises to be a night to remember for anyone who dares to be scared at Mont Orgueil.”

Halloween at Mont Orgueil is on from 6pm-10pm on Friday, 31 October. The fire show will take place at 7pm and 9.30pm. Tickets cost £25 for adults and £20 for children aged between 6-16 years old, plus Eventbrite fee. The event is not recommended for children under the age of six. Jersey Heritage Members receive a 20% discount.

James Gaudin, Appleby’s Managing Partner, said: “At Appleby Jersey, bringing people together is always in season. This Jersey Heritage half term event, which comes a week after our spooktacular client party, sees us celebrating all things autumn with another part of our community. We hope lots

of families get in the spirit for a frightfully fun time at Mont Orgueil Castle because connection, like Halloween tricks and treats, is better when shared. And who knows…I might even dress up for the occasion!”
