Enjoy springtime play activities with the young ones in your life in a fun-filled and joyful afternoon for Early Years children.

Step into spring with hands-on sensory exploration inspired by the bright and cheerful daffodils blooming around the historic site. Hosted by our Education team and Members’ Events Curator Carmella Knight, this playful drop-in event invites little explorers to engage their senses through colour, scent, texture and nature-based creativity.
These activities are aimed at children aged 3-5 years old and are perfect for curious hands and imaginative minds. They include:

•Pollinator Patch Garden – small world play
•Daffodil Dig and Discover
•Yellow Sunshine Soup (Water Play)
•Daffodil Playdough Garden
•Potion Making In The Mud Kitchen
•Mark Making and Flower Printing
•Story Corner

Children must be accompanied by a JH Member. One adult per two children.

Three days of springtime celebration for Jersey Heritage Members

This March, La Hougue Bie bursts into bloom as we celebrate Jersey’s iconic spring flower with a three-day Daffodil Fest for our JH Members. From an inspiring talk and hands-on creativity to sensory play, family fun and a dazzling silent disco, there’s something for everyone to enjoy amid the golden sweep of daffodils surrounding the historic mound.
