Seasonal Ferry Crew

Hours: 1 May – 13 September / 4 days on, 2 days off

Salary: £14.16 per hour

Working alongside the Skipper, you’ll greet visitors, support their journey to and from the Castle, and play an active role in creating an enjoyable visitor experience. You’ll also work closely with the wider Jersey Heritage team, contributing to great customer service, smooth operations and the protection of our historic site.

What you’ll bring:

• Confidence and warmth when dealing with visitors
• A positive, team‑focused attitude
• Willingness to learn about the Castle, its history, and ferry operations
• Reliability, initiative and a commitment to excellent service
• Experience with customer service, cash handling or EPOS is helpful but not essential
• Additional qualifications such as First Aid, VHF Radio or Powerboat Level 2 are an advantage, but training can be provided.
