    About Hamptonne Country Life Museum

    Hamptonne Country Life Museum gives the visitor a unique insight into the rural life carried on in Jersey for centuries. Dating back to the 15th Century the house and farm are perfect for discovering the rural history of Jersey. Explore the different houses which make up Hamptonne, find out more about Jersey’s history of cider making in the cider barn and wander through the cider apple orchard and meet the Hamptonne calves, chickens and piglets in the traditional farmstead.

    Coach Parking: None on site,  please speak with your coach operator regarding drop off and pick up points.

    Disabled Parking: None designated, to ensure a disabled car parking space call 01534 863 955 the day of your visit.

    Public Transport

    Bus: No.7 from Liberation Station to Hamptonne. Nearest bus stop for Hamptonne is a 10-12 mins walk from Three Oaks Garage.

    Cycle Route: No.3, Hamptonne is located in the middle of the Island. – Bike Racks available in car park.

    Disabled access: Some disabled access to the sites.

    Free wheelchair loan available if booked in advance on your group booking form.

    Toilets: Four toilets on site and one accessible toilet on site.  One baby-changing facility on site.

    Guided tours provided free of charge throughout the season (Generally twice a day – duration approx.30 mins), check the guided tour times here.

    Private guided tours can be arranged, by advanced booking – £50 per tour – duration approx. 1hr. Please contact us to find out more.

    Leaflets are available at entrance for £1 provide a brief history and guide to the site.
