Our visitor sites* are open 10am to 4pm every day throughout the winter. So grab a jacket and swap wellies for wonder and come and visit us.
*Elizabeth Castle is closed until March 2026.
Maritime Museum
- Challenge yourself and the kids, who can set the record for tying the fastest knot?
- If the kids are feeling brave, tell them to put their head as close as they dare to the Black Dog and ask them: “What’s hiding in there?”

La Hougue Bie
- Cakes and hot chocolate are always available in the Tearoom, and Jersey Heritage Members get a 10% discount too!
- On Tuesdays and Thursdays, there’s a Longhouse volunteer who lights a fire, ask them why it’s important to have smoke in the Longhouse, the answer might surprise you!
- Take a torch into the dolmen, send the kids inside the chamber while you stand at the entrance, can you recreate the equinox for them?
