Step back in time to the summer of 1945 and witness history come alive with Force 135 Living History Group's captivating public display at Elizabeth Castle. Immerse yourself in the remarkable story of the Liberation of Jersey by British troops in May 1945, when they finally freed Jersey from Nazi occupation at the end of World War II.

Meet the knowledgeable and passionate members of Force 135, who painstakingly recreate the uniforms, weaponry, and everyday life of the era. Hear the echoes of history as the troops perform drills, demonstrate authentic military equipment, and recount the stories of the liberation. This immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to pay tribute to the heroes who fought for freedom, while gaining a profound understanding of the challenges they faced.
