Celebrate 100 years of surfing in Jersey, from the first beach huts and wooden boards of the 1920s to the international surfing competitions of the 1960s. Discover how the sport has developed over the past century and how Jersey has led the way in innovative surfboard designs, from the earliest boards of solid teak to the latest in sustainable surfboards made of seaweed!

Then, visit the Surfing Cinema for three documentary films, taken from the archives, that explore the history of surfing in Jersey, featuring interviews with the people who shaped the Island’s surfing scene.
