Medieval Revels

My Lords and Ladies, Knights and Maids, Outlaws and Jesters, this May half term Jersey Heritage invites you to partake of our marvellous ‘Medieval Revels’!

Mont Orgueil Castle

10am to 4pm daily

Step into a world where castles were commonplace, minstrels wandered from town to town, and “faint hearts never won a fair lady”.

The team from Griffin Historical return with stories old and bold, sword fights and traditional crafts. They are joined by our Living History characters, including the Medieval Musicians and the Castle Falconer, with a spectacular flying display. Follow a pilgrimage trail to find the mythical beasts of Mont Orgueil, try your hand at illuminated writing, and learn about the Knight’s code of chivalry. With live music, dance, creative activities, ale to quaff and chicken legs to gnaw, this family-friendly event has fun for all ages.

Don your finest tabard, tights and chainmail, mount your trusty steed, and join in the fun at Mont Orgueil. Peasant or Princess, we welcome all to our Maytime revels!
