FREE ENTRY TO THE CASTLE

Come to Elizabeth Castle on Sunday 21 September to view the newly renovated Officers’ Quarters and Military Hospital. Imagine how the sick and injured soldiers were nursed in the wards of the Hospital, and see how the men, their families and the officers lived in the rooms of the Officers’ Quarters.

Tour the new retreat accommodation and community space that is now available for groups to book. The very special experience of staying overnight at the Castle enables groups to enjoy the peace and quiet that descends when visitors leave, watch the birdlife and unwind on their own private island, cut off from the bustle of St Helier.

Entry is free on Sunday, 21 September until the Castle closes due to the incoming tide. Walking to the Castle on the causeway is possible from 11am. Visitors wishing to use the ferry will need to buy a ticket for the ferry only.

Last entry to the Castle is at 2.30pm.
