Four ‘Family Days’ will take place during 2026 and will mark the move from spring to summer, autumn and winter. The first event is ‘Family Day: Daffodils’ at La Hougue Bie on Saturday, 21 March, which celebrates the start of springtime. It is followed by ‘Victorian Seaside’ at Elizabeth Castle in June; ‘Harvest’ at Hamptonne in September; and ‘Christmas Crafts’ at Jersey Museum in December.

Carmella Knight, Jersey Heritage Events Curator, said: “We love welcoming different generations to our castles and museums and our new ‘Family Days’ series, which is inspired by the changing seasons, offers four fun days out for all the family. We’re starting with ‘Daffodils’ at La Hougue Bie where the sea of beautiful yellow flowers on the Neolithic mound will provide the perfect backdrop for our line-up of spring-themed activities.

“There will be something for people of all ages to enjoy, from watching an artist at work and following a daffodil trail to mini pot planting, colourful crafts and some sensory play for the younger ones in the family.”

‘Family Day: Daffodils’ is a drop in event from 10am-3pm on Saturday, 21 March at La Hougue Bie. Usual entry fees apply. Free to Jersey Heritage Members and children under the age of six. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
