We’re looking for friendly and reliable Adhoc Catering Team Members to support our cafés across multiple heritage sites
You’ll provide great customer service, prepare drinks, process orders, help with food service, and keep areas clean and well‑presented.

- Able to work weekends and be flexible
Hours: Ad‑hoc shifts between 9am–5.30pm, with occasional evening events
Locations: Hamptonne, Elizabeth Castle, Mont Orgueil, La Hougue Bie.
£13.75 per hour.

Purpose of Role:
Looking for someone who has some experience of working in a catering environment, to work as part of a small team providing a friendly and professional service to visitors to the café and site.
Working hours:
• Working hours are between 9.00am and 5.30pm. Specific shift times vary depending on team size, location and time of year.
• Occasional evening work to cover events
Main Responsibilities and Key Result Areas:
1. Provide friendly and professional customer service
2. Ensure that the preparation and service of food is in line with our Food Safety program and to the required recipe and presentation standards
3. Preparation of hot drinks
4. Taking orders and processing them through the till
5. Cashing up tills at the end of each shift
6. Placing orders for food, drinks and packaging with suppliers as required, ensuring the correct stock levels are maintained
7. Ensure fridges and display areas are stocked up, following the stock rotation policy
8. Clearing, cleaning and setting up customer tables
9. Ensure the kitchen management plan is followed and completed on a daily basis, highlighting any issues immediately to the Group Café Manager.
