Discover the Island's best stories for FREE with some creative family fun our Discovery Day events bring the best of storytelling, arts and crafts, trails and dressing up. Discovery days are perfect fun for families with children under 10 years old.
Children (aged over three years old) will receive a Discovery Day badge when they come along to a Discovery Day, there are five events and five badges to collect this year!
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Discover Terrific Trees
Dêmuchiz “Les Bein Bouôns Bouais”
St Saviours Woodland (opposite the Parish Hall) / Saturday, 9 November / 10am – 2pm
Come and celebrate Jersey’s woodlands at our Aspiring Jersey Island Geopark Discovery Day! Learn about the importance of tree planting. Love your woods. Get stuck into FREE craft and forest school activities. Can you tell the difference between a Lime and a Beech or an Oak and a Sycamore?
Find out how leaf shapes and bark patterns can help us to identify different species and learn how to measure the height of a tree with just a pencil! Go wild with creative play, as you follow the Discovery trail and recharge in nature.

Discover Crafty Christmas
Dêmuchiz “La Nivell’lie d’Noué”
Saturday, 14 December / 10am – 4pm / Jersey Museum
Come and make fantastic cards, decorations and gifts for the holidays. Follow the festive trail around Bouan Appétit! and get into the spirit of Christmas, with joyous carols and a fun family movie. All children must be accompanied by a helpful adult.
