Celebrate Women’s History Month with a morning of reflection, connection and inspiration. Over breakfast, enjoy a talk that shines a spotlight on remarkable women from Jersey’s history – exploring the challenges they overcame, the impact they made and the lessons their stories offer us today.

Discover stories of quiet resilience and bold leadership, from the extraordinary actions of Margaret Harliston, who braved stormy seas to save her husband’s life in the 17th century, to the pioneering work of Caroline Trachy, who led the campaign for female suffrage and equal rights for women in the early 20th century.

The event is hosted by Kate Wright, CEO of Freeda and a member of Jersey Heritage’s DEI panel, with Linda Romeril, Deputy Chief Executive and Archives & Collections Director, and Lucy Layton, Exhibitions Curator.

Leave this fascinating talk feeling uplifted, empowered and inspired by the remarkable women who came before us.
