Access Statement for Stable Apartment Heritage Let

We have created this accessibility guide to accurately describe the facilities and services we offer all our visitors. It does not contain personal opinions as to the sites’ suitability for those with access needs.

Icon with car and a parking sign The venue has its own carpark, approximately 50m from the museum entrance with approx. 30 spaces with 2 designated disability spaces.

Other useful information               

  • The floor surfaces throughout the site are a mixture of tile, wood flooring, hogging, beaten earth and grass.
  • We have a set of evacuation procedures – Wheelchair loan is available free of charge on request at reception.

The shop

  • The shop is situated after the museum reception area, has flat level entrance and tiled flooring.

Grounds and Gardens

  • There are 2 main courtyards with hogging underfoot. The paths are mainly hogging/compacted earth.  Many grass areas.

Catering

  • The café is situated in the main courtyard, has step free level access, tiled flooring, with inside/outside seating available.
  • Table service provided.
