| This is suitable for non-electric wheelchair users and those who can transfer and also for people with mobility issues who cannot climb the many stairs at MO. It can be used with a visitors non-electric wheelchair (150kg max. weight of chair and user combined ) or using our onsite wheelchair. The Castle
- We have a set of evacuation procedures.
Shop
- The shop is situated in the reception area at the entrance. There are 3 steps up to the reception area but also a granite slope for wheelchair access.
Grounds and Gardens
- The pathways are hoggin and have uneven surfaces throughout.
Catering
- The café is situated after the reception area and Second Gate.
- It has step-free level access from the outside entrance, there is a slight incline from the terrace area.
- There is seating available inside and out.
- Please note only counter service available.
Stair Climber
This is a free, bookable service for anyone who uses a non-electric wheelchair or who can transfer, or who has mobility issues or would otherwise be unable climb and descend the external stairs at Mont Orgeuil. If you do use a (non-electric) wheelchair you can use that on the stair climber or you can use the wheelchair provided. The total capacity is 150kg so the wheelchair and user must not exceed this.
