Jersey Heritage are delighted to announce the inaugural Jersey Family History Festival to be held at the Jersey Archive on Friday-Sunday 20-22 April.

Headlining this exciting event will be Nick Barratt, UK genealogical expert and consultant for the first four seasons of the BBC’s ‘Who do you think you Are?’ who will be talking about his experiences and giving tips on tracing your descendants. People will also have an opportunity to meet him to ask for help with their family history issues.

There will be talks and workshops throughout the weekend which will be fascinating for those interested in family history.  The talks designed to help you start your family history, show the resources we have at Jersey Archive and teach you more about the online catalogue. Come and find out the stories of your ancestors by carrying out your own research with the help of our staff. Booking is essential.
