Alice Roberts, the presenter, was very nice but the most fun I had was waiting with other people before and after doing the shoot. I think they were shooting eight different interviews on the day and each of us had brought our star objects from our digs. While I was there people kept arriving with their own bits and pieces from their dig, a wooden coffin, a skeleton in a back pack and so forth. It was like archaeology top trumps.
The picture below is a prezzy for our hoard finder Richard who, it seems, rather likes Alice and regretted her not coming over here. As a consolation prize my colleague Viki spent five minutes on Photoshop to give him a momento of a nearly real encounter!
