Edmund Blampied (1886 - 1966) is best known for his lively etchings and delicate drypoints of a bygone rural life in Jersey. Before he gained a worldwide reputation as a printmaker he made his living as a commercial artist, often signing his work 'Blam'.
This Lavishly illustrated volume opens the pages of books and magazines containing Blampied's work to show a hidden treasure of dainty drawings and charming illustrations by one of Jersey's most celebrated artists. This book is the result of 30 years of collecting and researching Blampied's illustrations by the author Dr Andrew Hall. Available to buy from: Jersey Museum £25.00
