A grant from the Association of Jersey Charities and Channel Islands Lottery has enabled Jersey Heritage to invest in three new museum quality exhibition cases to house The Story of Jersey objects at Jersey Museum and Art Gallery. The Story of Jersey is part of the free exhibition space at Jersey Museum, open year-round.
Louise Downie, Director of Curation and Outreach said: 'Three new cases, specially built to use in this space and display these objects hasl dramatically improved our ability to tell Jersey’s story. The cases create a strong visual impact upon entry to the museum concourse, encouraging people to explore and learn.'
The Story of Jersey is one of the three free to access areas within Jersey Museum which tells the story of Jersey's history. This includes a free film about the history of Jersey, access to the concourse space with objects from The Story of Jersey and a free exhibition which changes annually.
