The Neolithic Longhouse at La Hougue Bie is officially award-winning!  It scooped the ‘Volunteer and Community Projects’ category at last week’s prestigious Association of Heritage Interpretation (AHI) Discover Heritage Awards 2019 in England.

Judges praised the project for “inclusive volunteer involvement throughout, and a strong legacy of trained volunteers acting as guides”.

Huge congratulations to our amazing volunteers for all their hard work and commitment to the project. We are delighted that two of them – Derek and Astra Denton – were there to receive the national award.
