Meet Doug McIntosh

Doug  first started volunteering as a Site Guide as a result of visiting Mont Orgueil as a guest at a wedding.  He’d not visited the Castle for several years and once he’d visited he was so impressed that he started volunteering as a Site Guide.

Meet Geoff Reakes

Site Guide Geoff Reakes is a retired school teacher – so he is used to speaking to groups and including a lot of humour in his presentations. He is passionate about learning and is continually researching and adding to the content of his Site Tours, with a particular interest in the German Occupation of Jersey during the years 1940-45.

Meet Marlene Morris

Marlene taught for 40 years as an English and History teacher. Her history specialism was Medieval and Tudor/Stuart so Mont Orgueil is a perfect fit.

Meet Daniel Rive

Daniel grew up in Grouville within sight of Mont Orgueil Castleand growing up never realised just how important the Castle that he saw every day was! Now he loves to talk to our visitors about the Castle and about Island life.
