There’s plenty to do this year with our programme of family events.

Interactive learning through our family events programme is a great way to find out more about our Island’s history and is the perfect way to enjoy a fun, family day out.

Ghoulish Gourds

24 to 30 October

Get creative with your gourds! Decorate Hamptonne with your spooky pumpkin creations in the run up to our Ghostly Tales event over the Halloween weekend. Drop your finished pumpkin off at Hamptonne from Monday, 24 October and we’ll announce the winner on Halloween!

Ghostly Tales at Hamptonne

29 and 30 October

Jersey folklore is rich with tales of ghosts, monsters and witches. Gather around the fire in Hamptonne House to listen to spine-tingling tales from days of old. Are they myth or legend? That’s for you to decide!

Information on how to book will be available in the next few weeks. The event will be free to Jersey Heritage members and under 6s, usual entry fees will apply to non-members.

A Traditional Christmas

17 and 18 December

Experience an old-fashioned Christmas at Hamptonne Country Life Museum. Dating back to the 15th century, the house and farm are perfect for discovering Christmas traditions of days gone by. You may even find old St Nick warming his boots by the fireside in Hamptonne House.

Information on how to book will be available in the next few weeks. The event will be free to Jersey Heritage members and under 6s, usual entry fees will apply to non-members.

Be Joyous!

15 to 20 December

Sing your heart out with Jersey Heritage in the run-up to Christmas! Put your ‘to do’ list to one side and join in. It’s not about having the perfect voice but about lifting your spirits and spreading some festive cheer.  Times and locations to be confirmed.
