Jersey Museum the Merchant's House

Civil wedding ceremonies are held in the beautiful and historic gas-lit Victorian drawing room. Following your ceremony you can have drinks in the museum courtyard and gardens whilst the drawing room is transformed into an intimate reception space where dinners can be held for up to 30 guests.

The Merchants House at No 9 Pier Road adjoins the Jersey Museum and is one of the finest examples of a 19th century town house in Jersey. It has been fully restored to how it would have looked in 1861 when it was home to a prosperous family in Victorian St Helier.  It offers a wonderful intimate venue for your Jersey wedding.

The Museum Brasserie is also an ideal location for wedding receptions. In the summer the walled courtyard, adorned with lavender and vines, is a beautiful and peaceful refuge in the heart of St Helier. There is also a choice of four other ceremony venues at the Jersey Museum.
