The Société Jersiaise is a local history society founded in 1873 for the study of Jersey archaeology, history, natural history, the ancient language and the conservation of the environment. The Lord Coutanche Library and Photographic Archive, located at 7, Pier Road, hold collections of printed secondary sources concerning local history and photographs of people and places in Jersey.
