Meet the Team

We want to ensure your stay with Jersey Heritage is special and memorable. We pride ourselves on our one-to-one service and so don’t offer online bookings. Each of our team members has great knowledge about our properties and also the Island of Jersey.

Below they have told you about their favourite property, the best part about working for Jersey Heritage Lets and what they would recommend for your stay.

Jo Hepworth - Heritage Venues Manager

Each site has it own uniqueness but my favourite let is Stable Apartment at Hamptonne. It is cosy, romantic and surrounded by beautiful countryside. It’s the perfect location to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings at this lovely farm.

The favourite part of my job is hearing from guests why they are booking one of our properties, it might be a special occasion or a holiday with a difference, it’s always lovely to be apart of making great holiday memories!

My top tip is to bring a picnic blanket, whether it’s for sitting in meadow at Hamptonne, on the beach or one of the many scenic spots around the island.

Holly Morison – Heritage Venues Officer

Each site has its own charm and quirky feature, but I have great memories of staying at Fort Leicester with friends visiting from South Africa. The Fort is in such a great position overlooking Bouley Bay and I love watching the native lizards dart in and out of the walls. It also has great outside areas to relax in the sunshine.

I always like it when someone plans a special surprise for a family member or friend when booking one of our properties. From bunches of flowers and champagne to the whole holiday being a big surprise.

A picnic basket and a barbeque – all of our properties are in amazing locations; whilst Hamptonne has meadows and orchards you can picnic in others have a whole bay to explore. There are so many shops dotted around the Island selling local produce; there is nothing better than buying some freshly caught scallops from the fishmongers, a large French baguette from a bakery and a glass of wine in hand watching the sun go down.

Deborah Shead – Heritage Lets Officer

My favourite site is Kempt Tower, it has a really lovely solidity to it; perhaps it’s the 8ft thick walls! Despite the contemporary furnishings the history is evident in every brick and piece of granite, and it is manages to be both imposing and cosy!

The best part is probably seeing the properties ready and prepared, beds made, towels folded and log baskets stocked in anticipation of the arrival of guests.

I’d say walking boots are essential! There are some fantastic walks throughout the Island, particularly the cliff paths, many of which are on the doorstep of our coastal properties; they’re not to be missed and ensure you work up a good appetite for a long lazy lunch in one of the Island’s excellent restaurants.

Kim Bouguard – Heritage Lets Officer

My favourite let is Barge Aground, the location for me is unrivalled and watching the sun set over the bay is magical.

The best part of my job (apart from sitting next to Holly!) is engaging with the public and assisting them in arranging their perfect holiday.

A camera, you will need one, the views are amazing from every site.
