Time Team opened up eight trenches in total and made some exciting new discoveries, including a previously unknown massive deep dry ditch cut through solid rock underneath the Castle Green.

 

The exhibition will reveal the results of the Time Team dig which was a huge success and will feature photographs, site plans and reconstruction drawings from the TV programme.

 

You can find out what objects were unearthed and get an insight into how Time Team works. See the results of new 3D imagery used for the first time on a Time Team programme. The exhibition can be found displayed within the castle walls and a copy of the full excavation report and part of the broadcast programme will be available to view in the Castle café.
